It was decent. If you've done the rock city gardens then you've pretty much seen the same views. I don't regret doing it but I won't spend the money to do it again. The incline system itself was pretty impressive.
I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this but we decided to do it anyway and glad we did! No problems getting on and off the train - very smooth and didn’t wait long. At the top not much to do but walk to point park for some nice views. At the bottom clumpies is really good if you haven’t been yet and we had drinks and appetizers at the 1885 grill and I highly recommend them. We went in the fall and the views were amazing and the ride up is pretty neat, definitely worth it!
My wife and I had a great time on the steepest rail way in North America. Make sure to check the weather so there's not too much fog but it usually Burns off mid day. Parking was only $2 for the whole day.
Great place to visit. Although I chicken out once we got near my 15 yrs old son rode by himself. Everyone was nice. Great customer service. Son said ride was great. Would definitely recommend this place. Will visit again if in the area. Was out of our way on our visit but totally worth it.
This was a really great experience to see Lookout Mountain. It might seem scary but it's pretty fun. It doesn't go more than 10 mph and gives you a nice view. I recommend starting at the bottom station since parking there is $2 for the whole day. The view from the top station was fantastic, you'll definitely want to bring a camera with you.
