Super cold on December 31! Absolutely worth it if only for the views of Chattanooga from up high. For a history aficionado, it's fantastic. It's clear why this was such a sought after artillery position. There is a very extensive list of special events including artillery demonstrations, so be sure to get one of those.

The reviews below must be about Point Park across the street because the Battles for Chattanooga Museum was a joke. The digital projection-mapped show was like a 25-30 minute movie which was okay but mostly putting me to sleep. The museum was barely a museum. It was literally a room that you walk into after the movie that fools you into thinking you're in a museum until you walk by one of the showcases seeing that it is just a tiny room with some displays. The building is more of a gift shop than a museum. Don't waste your time here unless you want to waste your money on a short movie/map show and see some civil war relics.
